We are delighted to be partnering with a well-known brand in their search for a supply chain professional with projects experience to join their team. Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for supply chain, strategic planning, and making an impact? If so, this business has an opportunity on their Commercialization team that might be perfect for you. This role is business-centric and involves participating in critical projects with cross-functional collaboration across the organisation.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Manage the commercialization and execution of new products
  • Develop strong relationships with project stakeholders in a virtual environment and with key Plant Stakeholders at manufacturing sites
  • Influence a network of resources across the Supply Chain, ensuring a holistic approach to determine task responsibilities and deadlines for launch timings
  • Engage with R&D to optimize Supply Chain and meet launch timelines
  • Identify and align critical project targets, including timing, product cost targets, and volumes
  • Ensure the project is executable by the manufacturing site and that the preferred Supply Chain is ready for commercialization
  • Engage with Sector SCM to ensure project timelines are achievable and met
  • Manage financial exposure by identifying risk and aligning exposure costs
  • Collaborate with the Business Unit to get approvals
  • Track appropriate metrics to manage and continuously improve performance
  • Manage a network of resources across the business to support product launch and issue resolution
  • Handle escalation and hyper-care projects to ensure critical project timelines are met

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Supply chain background with some new product introduction/projects experience
  • Ability to influence across the organisation, using networks to achieve success
  • High attention to detail and excellent presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems
  • Ability to multitask and self-motivated
  • Deliver on optimized Innovation/Continuous Improvement projects
