Barden are working with a wealth management company who are looking for a Risk and Compliance executive to join their growing team in their Dublin office.
The role will support the MLRO on a small team and assist with identifying, assessing and managing AML risk in an efficient manner. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable of the regulatory environment and be confident dealing with senior stakeholders.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Working closely with the Deputy MLRO and MLRO on day-to-day operations within the company
- Conducting AML assessments to ensure AML standards are being adhered to
- Working on quarterly reporting for MLRO and Board meetings with Head of Compliance
- Assisting in implementation of new AML legislation and updating internal teams on any changes/amendments.
- Working closely with teams on annual risk assessment
- Making recommendations and conducting regular training with staff.
- Comply with all risk and compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Liaising with regulatory bodies as required
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant area – business, law, economics
- 3 years’ experience within AML/Compliance/Risk
- LCOI/ACOI is desirable, or interested in working towards this
- Self-starter, willing to work on own initiative, as part of a busy team.
