Barden are working with a Global Entertainment Company to help identify a Risk Assurance Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be coming from a regulated background and will have at least 5 years’ experience in risk or assurance.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and implementing the Group Risk assurance policy and standards
- Working with Divisions to align on assurance standards, approach and required capabilities
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with senior management in Group and Divisions
- Identifying risk themes from activities conducted and offering recommendations to address exposures across the Group
- Providing support to key Group projects in relation to risk management and monitoring
- Successfully completing ongoing risk-based assurance testing for material Group risks
- Completing assurance testing activities to agreed timelines
- Monitoring adherence to risk policies and procedures, and ensuring key policies are reviewed
ABOUT THE PERSON
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years’ experience working in risk, audit or similar assurance function
- A professional qualification(s) in the areas of Internal Audit, Risk or Compliance
- A degree in accounting, IT, finance, business or a related discipline
- A strategic mind-set, with the ability to anticipate future trends and implications
- Confidence under pressure
- The ability to embrace change with an open-mind and an eagerness to try out new things
- Humility in their dealings with others
