The firm is currently looking to hire an experienced banking solicitor into the team. Depending on the profile and the level of client following (if any), the successful candidate might enter at Partner level or at Senior Associate level with a view to moving up. Client following would be a requirement for Partner level but not for Senior Associate. The position would also suit someone who does not wish to become a Partner but who is at that level technically and can play a leadership role as a senior advisor/banking expert within the team.
Candidates from the aforementioned range of areas will be of interest if they have a mix of banking experience. However, the ideal profile would be a fully specialised/traditional banking lawyer, coming from a Banking team in another medium or large firm. Candidates coming from London would also be very well regarded, especially if they have LMA experience. Regulatory experience would also be viewed very favourably.
