Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
Barden have an exciting new Senior BI Analyst role with a leading client based in Cork. This is a permanent position with an excellent salary and benefits on offer depending on experience.
About the role:
- Clean, transform, and manipulate data using SQL and basic statistical methods to prepare the data for analysis.
- Develop data models, databases, and data systems that will be used for analytical purposes.
- Utilize analytical tools and techniques to conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns of the data.
- Develop and maintain clear and concise reports and dashboards leveraging PowerBI to track key performance indicators and business metrics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and DS&G to understand their business needs and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Document anomalies/data issues to the Technology team on a continual basis
- This is a remote opportunity.
About the person:
- 6+ years of experience as a BI Analyst or similar function
- Experience with PowerBI and data visualization tools
- Proficient in SQL for data querying and manipulation and experience working in the Cloud (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets and extract actionable insights.
- Business acumen and the ability to understand and translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
