ROLE: Senior Cloud Security Manager
LOCATION: Dublin or Cork / Hybrid
Barden are delighted to partner with this Global organisation in their search for an experienced ‘Cloud Security’ professional.
This permanent role is a key hire for our client which will report to the ‘Cyber Security Director’.
“The successful person will be given the opportunity to lead out & execute Security assessments across the various cloud environments they encounter – (Azure, AWS, GCP), cloud native platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)” – ‘Cyber Security Director’ (Quote).
This role would suit a Cyber Security professional with strong expertise in Cloud Security Architecture.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will spend the majority of your time engaging with Senior account stakeholders to –
- Identify requirements, drivers and context, to drive cloud security assessments.
- Provide recommendations for improvement and risk reduction by assessing clients’ cloud security posture.
- Identify and drive remediation of public and hybrid cloud risk.
- Additionally, you’ll seek to identify and deliver appropriate controls based on industry standards (e.g. CCM) to drive cloud and customer security solutions framework based on business risk and cloud native threats
- Other key tasks include – establishing security requirements for cloud-based solutions by evaluating business strategies and requirements researching cloud infrastructure security standards such as ISO 27000 series, NIST CSF, and CSA
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- You’ll be someone who excels in that key ‘Trusted Cyber Advisor’ role providing guidance to clients on the – design, development & maintenance of ‘Cloud Security’ solutions, continually evaluating new Cloud threats.
- Have successfully performed ‘Lead Cloud Security’ focused roles on delivering security on cloud native, distributed architectural solutions in complex environments.
- Possess a good understanding of Industry trends relating to Cloud technologies for public, private and hybrid cloud deployments.
- Possess a customer-focused mindset and be capable of delivering security solutions to meet various business needs.
- The successful candidate will have experience of operating in a fast-changing and dynamic environment.
