Barden are delighted to be working with a large international accounting firm who are developing their Financial Management Consulting offering to clients in Cork.
This team which has grown significantly over the last number of years is now recruiting a Senior Consultant who will get involved in a variety of projects and assist with project managing assignments such as process improvements, strategic planning, organisation review and finance transformation.
Responsibilities include:
This role will be varied and the Consultant will be responsible for providing new insights and solutions to clients across a range of industries.
The Consultant will evaluate business structures and provide solutions to improve efficiencies, they will assess organisations long terms plans and implement strategic change. They will perform cost benefit analysis and economic impact assessments and provide recommendations to clients. The Consultant will be involved in a range of Finance Transformation projects with clients.
The Consultant will also work closely with other team members to ensure high standards provided to clients.
About the person:
- Ideally a qualified accountant with 1-2 years’ PQE
- Prior consulting/project management experience in a professional services organization or experience working in Audit in a large firm
- A real interest in developing a career in change management / project management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be important, including dealing with clients, presenting to colleagues/clients etc
