Senior Data Analyst with Governance
Barden have an exciting new opportunity within the area of Data Analytics / Data Governance. This is a key hire for our client and you will be reporting into the VP of Data Products Strategy and Governance. This is a technical role with Strong SQL, Data Engineering, and experience manipulating data required.
About the role:
- You will also have a strong background in Program Management and stewardship of governance teams. Ability to set targets, coach, and mentor teams. Guide investment decisions and advocate with management.
- As part of this role you will be responsible for documenting, monitoring and ensuring the adherence to the data governance policies and processes, working with stakeholders to conduct periodic audits and manage remediation efforts as needed.
- Ideally you would have a strong understanding of healthcare data governance, as well as experience with HIPAA, HITECH, CCPA, GDPR, and SOX compliance.
- Lead and facilitate metadata documentation projects with cross functional teams including defining definitions and standards and managing data catalogue intake.
About the person:
- Ideally you will have 4+ years of experience in data governance and compliance, with a teachnical background using SQL
- Excellent project management skills with a track record in metadata, data quality, data privacy and compliance.
- A strong understanding and familiarity with database structures, data architectures, and data modelling, which can aid in deeper metadata comprehension and management.
