SENIOR FINANCE IT MANAGER.
One of Ireland’s leading organizations is seeking a Senior Finance IT Manager to join their team. This role offers the chance to work on a large scale, driving innovation and managing critical finance and HR systems within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role can be based in either Dublin or Cork, with a requirement to be onsite three days a week.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Oversee and manage outsourced financial systems, focusing on continuous improvement and alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Manage key relationships with vendors and third-party partners, ensuring exceptional service delivery and effective contract management.
- Lead the delivery of finance IT projects from inception to completion, including planning, budgeting, and quality assurance, ensuring all initiatives aligned with business priorities.
- Develop and implement a forward-looking IT roadmap for the finance function, keeping systems ahead of the curve with the latest innovations and upgrades.
- Partner closely with finance leadership and other key stakeholders to ensure IT initiatives drive significant business value.
- Mentor and lead a team of System Accountants, fostering a culture of excellence and ongoing development.
- Spearhead finance transformation projects, focusing on migrating from on-premises systems to cutting-edge cloud-based ERP solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies, introducing fresh ideas to keep the organization at the forefront of the finance IT space.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- 10-15 years of IT experience within the finance sector, with a strong background in managing large-scale finance systems, particularly ERP systems like Oracle Financials.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in crafting and executing IT strategies that drive business success, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- In-depth understanding of software development, quality assurance, information security, and finance transformation processes.
- Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is ideal.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
