ABOUT THE COMPANY
Barden has been engaged by a global healthcare group to assist with identifying a lead lawyer to join its Cork based subsidiary.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the local managing director, this role will support the company across a range of areas including:
- Drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial agreements, ensuring that the company’s strategy and objectives are maintained while minimising legal and regulatory risk
- Acting as Company Secretary to the subsidiary
- Providing support to internal stakeholders in respect of contracts and related activities
- Supporting the company in respect of compliance matters to include data privacy and GDPR
- Managing delivery of all legal services, including oversight of employment law, intellectual property, real estate, data privacy/security, and compliance matters
- Working closely with management across all legal and compliance related matters

ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified lawyer in Ireland, an EU country or in the United States
- In excess of 7 years’ experience working with complex commercial contracts
- Working knowledge of EU privacy legislation and requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely and advice internal stakeholders
