Barden is working with an international e-commerce start-up, part of a wider large group, setting up several functions in Ireland to cover the European market. The company is looking to build the Legal department and is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel focusing on Regulatory Compliance within the e-commerce/online/internet sector.
This individual will be a key player in developing the legal function and the company’s culture in Ireland/Europe.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will help build a strong EU legal team focusing on regulatory compliance, responsible for advising on overall risk management strategy and on a variety of matters such as consumer protection, privacy, employment law, company law and corporate matters, etc.
THE PERSON
The successful individual will be a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 6 years’ PQE, with at least 3 of which advising on regulatory compliance matters in e-commerce, internet or e-payments, ideally in an in-house setting or in a top tier commercial law firm.
