Barden are delighted to assist a large International business in the appointment of a Senior Manager of Internal Audit to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Director of Internal Audit, this role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Internal Auditor eager to advance their career in a growing organisation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Spearhead internal audit assignments across the group.
- Manage the annual audit plan along with contributing to the strategic vision of the audit initiatives.
- Drive excellence by directing detailed audit efforts to high-risk areas, ensuring optimal returns from each assignment.
- Elevate impact: Craft internal audit reports with crystal-clear recommendations, offering practical solutions to bridge control gaps and enhance operational efficiency.
- Foster collaboration within a global finance environment.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Qualified accountant and seasoned auditor with 5+ years of post-qualification experience either in practice or industry.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
- Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and project management capabilities, along with the presence and authority to promptly secure the confidence and respect of the senior management team.
- Robust organisational and follow-up skills are essential, encompassing the ability to navigate competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines and commitments.
Note that there is 10-20% international travel required in this role.
