You will be part of the tax team working closely with the business to deliver on all aspects of tax reporting. As such you will work closely with group finance, group reporting and other key stakeholders in the business such as members of the commercial teams.

About the position
- Managing the delivery of US GAAP tax reporting and budgetary requirements on a timely basis.
- Reviewing the preparation of tax calculations for external reporting and internal forecasting.
- Preparation and/or review of tax reporting supporting documentation and evidence for US GAAP and IFRS reporting purposes e.g. FIN48 reporting.
- Working with divisional finance teams to ensure accurate tax reporting into Group (including training and development in US GAAP reporting, where applicable).
- Proactively identifying and helping to mitigate tax risks within the group.
- Reviewing and communicating advice to be shared with stakeholders in the business and assisting with specific external reporting disclosure obligations
About the person
- Qualified accountant and/or tax advisor with 5 or more years post qualified experience, specifically with experience in tax reporting.
- Experience working in a SOX internal control environment.
- Experience of managing teams, supporting and aiding their development and developing relationships with group auditors and finance teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment and embrace change.
