PepsiCo have partnered with Barden to seek a Site Engineering Lead in Carrigaline, Cork. As the Site Engineering Lead, you’ll have the opportunity to oversee day-to-day site engineering operations, including site-specific projects. Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in transitioning globally-led initiatives. It’s an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact!
The Opportunity
- Develop and deliver the Plant Capital Program for key business-critical initiatives, including capacity, infrastructure, and business continuity planning (BCP).
- Implement project management best practices, including procedures, risk management, change control, communications, and performance metrics.
- Partner with site and functional groups to establish a robust capital plan that meets business needs.
- Prioritize and plan a broad portfolio of projects annually.
- Adhere to program governance protocols and communicate planning to stakeholders.
- Support the development of business cases and Capex documents for the Carrigaline Plant Capital Program, resolving project issues.
- Manage a group of staff and contract engineers (~5) and a group of contractors & vendors (~50) to ensure the delivery of the Plant Capital program.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Process industry experience in engineering, particularly in capital project management within live production environments.
- Degree qualification in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in process plant technical standards, project concept development, business case and capital approval, and design, procurement, and installation.
- Ability to define and lead projects, as well as motivate project teams
