Snr Finance Transformation Manager (USA)

Barden is delighted to have been engaged by an Irish client to help identify an experienced finance professional to take on a significant role in the evolution of their financial systems in the US. Working in partnership with the Finance Director this role will sit between the finance and IT teams and be responsible for driving efficiencies and automation throughout the finance organisation.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Strong ability to engage business partners
• Strong understanding of PTP/OTC/Financial Reporting/Financial Analysis systems best practice and leading their application in the organisation
• Ability to assess the finance processes with an integrated end to end approach
• Effectively manage financial process improvement projects and or enhancements
• Identify process synergies, develop standards and enhance policies/procedures across finance business processes
• Determine and scope projects based on challenges identified in the end to end process
• Establish and participate in the project prioritization process and partner with IT for delivery
• Ability to handle multiple projects and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Work with a global team located across various regions and countries
• Support future ERP system transformation

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified accountant with circa 7-8 years PQE or equivalent in a project management/finance process transformation role
• Exposure to working with SAP an advantage but not a prerequisite
• Excellent people skills and the ability to bring people together on a common journey
• 2nd year Associate Director or 1st-year Director level (or equivalent) from a relevant consulting team in practice would be very relevant.
