Barden is working with an international e-commerce start-up, part of a wider large group, setting up several functions in Ireland to cover the European market. The company is looking to build the Legal department and is looking for two different lawyers at Senior Legal Counsel level, one focused on IP Litigation and another on Regulatory Compliance.
IP LITIGATION
The successful candidate will help build a strong European litigation team, responsible for ensuring the platform’s compliance with copyright and trademark laws and regulations, and for handling all disputes related to such matters.
The successful individual will be a qualified lawyer with in-house experience and circa 8+ years’ experience in trademark and copyright, ideally in the internet and technology field.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
The successful candidate will help build a strong EU legal team focusing on regulatory compliance, responsible for advising on overall risk management strategy and on a variety of matters such as consumer protection, privacy, employment law, company law and corporate matters, etc.
The successful individual will be a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 6 years’ PQE, with at least 3 of which advising on regulatory compliance matters in e-commerce, internet or e-payments, ideally in an in-house setting or in a top tier commercial law firm.
