We are delighted to be working with a boutique Tax & Accounting Advisory firm in Cork who are expanding their team.
This role would be best suited to an accountant who is eager to develop a career in tax or a tax consultant who wishes to broaden their experience to include accounting. The firm will offer exceptional training and the team is extremely supportive.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for a portfolio of clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing high level of service
- Preparation/review of year end accounts and monthly management accounts
- Preparation of annual and statutory accounts in accordance with the Companies’ Act
- Ensuring all compliance obligations met in a timely matter, e.g., tax, VAT, payroll etc.
- Assisting more senior members of the team with a variety of consulting assignments, across Income tax, VAT, CGT, CAT, Corporate Tax etc.
- Providing planning advice including research and preparation of tax technical memos around this advice
About the person:
A qualified accountant or tax consultant with experience working in a general accounting role in practice or a tax department of a medium/large accounting firm. The person should have an interest developing a career in tax and an eagerness to learn.
