We are delighted to be working with an extremely reputable and respected boutique Tax & Accounting Advisory firm in Cork who are expanding their tax team.
This role would be best suited to an accountant who is eager to develop a career in tax or a tax consultant who wishes to focus on Irish tax advisory. The firm will offer exceptional training and the team is extremely supportive.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting more senior members of the team with a variety of consulting assignments, across Income tax, VAT, CGT, CAT, Corporate Tax etc.
- Responsible for a portfolio of Income tax and Corporate tax clients and providing advice as required
- Providing planning advice including research and preparation of tax technical memos around this advice
- Assisting with research for tax publications and involvement in tax training programmes
About the person:
A qualified accountant or tax consultant with experience working in a general accounting role in practice or a tax department of a medium/large accounting firm. The person should have an interest developing a career in tax and an eagerness to learn.
