If you are a Tax Advisor who is eager to work very closely with clients and really add value to their business, this role might be a good fit. The role will offer a tax consultant the opportunity to work across all tax heads, with some compliance but the primary focus of the role will be advisory.
Role Overview:
As the Tax Director, your key responsibilities will encompass tax advisory, strategic tax planning, client origination, and client support. This role promises a diverse and stimulating tax environment, fostering your broad tax expertise and active involvement in shaping the firm’s future.
Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Tax Planning: Provide expert planning advice and draft tax technical memos to guide clients effectively.
- Client Support: Assist clients with tax queries across all tax heads.
- Client Relationships: Develop new client relationships while maintaining existing ones, by delivering top-tier service.
- Team Growth: Contribute to the expansion and development of the firm.
- Staff Training: Play a vital role in providing tax training to colleagues.
About You:
We’re looking for a qualified tax consultant, already at the manager/senior manager level with strong Irish corporate tax and income tax expertise. A minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in an accounting firm’s tax department is essential.
