An exceptional opportunity for a tax manager has arisen within a global pharmaceutical group. Headquartered in Dublin, the group are currently expanding internationally and as a result a new position has been created for a tax manager to join the tax team. You will be part of a well established tax function and support the group’s business expansion internationally on tax related matters, including tax compliance, tax planning initiatives and provision of ad-hoc advice to the business.

About the position
- Assist with corporation tax compliance and reporting, coordinate with advisors and in-house finance teams in this regard
- Assist with preparation of global transfer pricing reporting requirements and implementation of transfer pricing policies
- Work with in-house legal and external advisors to establish new legal entities required for the group’s international growth
- Provide support in relation to local tax authority audits and enquiries
- Assist with global tax provision preparation under US GAAP for quarterly and annual SEC financial reporting
- Assist with the preparation of tax projections and forecasting of cash tax payments
- Work closely with senior management and external advisors to effectively manage domestic and international tax planning initiatives
- Monitor and analyze existing and proposed key tax legislative changes
- Assist with the provision of indirect tax and VAT advice to the business
About the person
- Qualified Accountant & Chartered Tax Advisor preferable
- 5+ years corporation tax experience working in accountancy firm or industry
- Prior experience managing global tax compliance an advantage
- Well organized with excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated – able to work both individually and as a member of a team
