ROLE: Technical Infrastructure Project Lead

LOCATION: Cork (Hybrid)

CONTRACT: 1 year initially

Here at Barden IT, we are delighted to be working with a Multinational Organisation who are now seeking a ‘Technical Infrastructure Project Lead’ to join them in Cork in a long-term contract with a competitive daily rate.

Based on the size and complexity of the Cork plants, increasing IT/automation engagement/governance and the expansion of significant programs, there is now a business need for this key role – to lead and drive support for IT Infrastructure, applications and projects across the Cork sites.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• This role will manage local IT interactions with the business; engaging with all stakeholders in the business to ensure IT/OT convergence programs are evaluated and implemented appropriately.
• The role will also ensure frameworks are in place for ongoing activities related to the Cork IT/OT programs.
• Manage vendors and engage with key stakeholders such as Operations, Automation, Engineering, Enterprise Solutions, Finance and IT.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• IT Infrastructure experience with good understanding and expertise across relevant manufacturing systems, programs, applications – key areas are Network, Compute, Security, Work Place Services and Manufacturing IT.
• Knowledge of manufacturing environment and associated IT infrastructure/applications.
• Familiar with ITIL environment and previous experience in business Change Management and IT/OT convergence programs.
• Demonstrated experience in an Infrastructure Technical role at driving and leading IT innovations in collaboration with OT stakeholders.
