Barden are delighted to be collaborating with a rapidly developing investment firm as they look for a Trainee Accountant to joining their growing finance team.
A great opportunity for an aspiring professional with circa 1-2 years of experience. Ideally looking for a part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with a background in audit/financial services, who is keen to join a dynamic and fast-paced growing international business.
About the Role:
- Maintain fixed asset records in accordance with group policy, ensuring proper authorisation of capital expenditures.
- Manage sales and purchase ledgers, oversee invoice processing, and execute supplier payment runs within budget constraints.
- Handle daily bank and treasury loan note records, along with weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts, particularly intercompany and related party accounts, and reconcile financial discrepancies.
- Support annual audits, optimise financial management systems, provide ad-hoc reporting, and contribute to finance transformation projects.
About the Person:
- Circa 1-2 years of experience in audit or financial services environment.
- Working towards a relevant professional accounting qualification
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, capable of building effective work relationships with colleagues across jurisdictions.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and be comfortable working with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
