Barden are excited to assist an Irish insurer based in Dublin City in finding a Trainee Accountant to join their expanding team. This is a permanent training contract. The ideal person will be looking for a new challenge and a step up in their finance career.
This person will sit in a busy team with exposure to senior members of finance and other senior professionals within the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Processing a high volume of reconciliations;
- Assisting with monthly accounts preparation;
- Management accounts on a monthly basis;
- Responsible for repayments and accruals;
- Liaising with internal & external auditors;
- Raising PO’s and payment runs;
- Assisting the wider finance team as required;
- Involvement in project based work and improvements across finance.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Pursuing professional accounting qualification;
- A minimum of a years’ experience in an accounts/finance assistant role;
- Varied systems exposure including Excel;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Self-motivated, energetic with a positive attitude and a desire to drive constant improvement and change.
