A great opportunity has arisen for a transfer pricing manager to join the global tax function of an Irish MNC, based in Dublin south.  An ideal career opportunity for a tax manager specialising in transfer pricing to join a group which continues to expand its international operations through organic growth and acquisitions.

About the position 

  • Working closely with the wider Group Tax team and senior management to establish, update, improve and maintain Group transfer pricing policies and procedures.
  • Managing implementation of new transfer pricing arrangements and monitoring the ongoing implementation of existing arrangements.
  • Working with the wider Group Tax team, third-party advisors and local finance teams to update and maintain Group transfer pricing documentation.
  • Supporting the wider Group Tax team to ensure that all CbCR requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Managing transfer pricing audits globally, working with third-party advisors and local finance teams in the development of audit strategies, the preparation of defence files and audit responses. 
  • Ongoing articulation and presentation of key issues, audit progression and risk to the wider Group Tax team and senior management.
  • Support with the Group’s quarterly and year-end financial reporting processes.
  • Keeping appraised of global transfer pricing developments and their impact on the Group’s structure, including OECD, EU and country specific developments.
  • Assisting the wider Group Tax team and the broader business with various consultancy projects and ad-hoc advisory matters as required.
  • Liaising with external advisors and with internal and external auditors.

About the person 

  • Qualified tax professional and/or accounting qualification with training completed in a Big-4/Top-10 environment 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management, problem solving & organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) are necessary in this role where you will also work closely with local finance teams and external advisors.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels of management.
