ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Provide high quality VAT consultancy services to a diverse range of clients.
- Work in collaboration with other areas of the business such as Income Tax, Corporate Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Business Advisory teams.
- Identify and project manage tax consultancy assignments using solutions-based tax planning.
- Advise overseas clients locating to Ireland on both compliance and tax structuring projects.
- Build and maintain client relationships both within the firm and within the wider international network.
- Stay abreast of tax technical changes as a result of the evolving international tax landscape.
- Develop and train more junior members of the team – taking responsibility for both their technical and practical experience.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- CTA / CTC Qualified (Accountancy qualification is also desirable).
- Minimum 3 years post qualification experience.
- Experience with VAT in Ireland and/or internationally is essential for this role.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent team management skills.
