Barden are working with the Head of Operations in a leading insurer to identify their next Vendor Management Administrator. This is a newly created role where the successful applicant will benefit from a highly comprehensive induction and mentoring programme.
THE ROLE
- The Vendor Management Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the vendor management process and future developments as these processes evolve.
- Support Vendor Managers with the administration of Vendor Details (Bank Details, E-mail, Address, Country, Ownership Structure, Risk Ratings, Company status).
- Act as a point of escalation for Vendor Managers ensuring issues are understood, owned and resolved.
- Deliver front line support and effective flow of information across all areas of Vendor Management, dealing with both employees and management.
- Engage with all areas of the business as required to support an effective vendor management process including Legal, Data Protection, Compliance, Risk, and IT.
- Respond to day-to-day queries from Vendor Managers in a timely manner.
- Answer queries and provide information on vendor management and accounts payable to both our internal and external auditors .
THE PERSON
- Relevant qualification in Business/Compliance/IT/Project Management.
- Administration/Procurement/Vendor Management Experience.
- Attention to detail – a strong aptitude for reviewing, assessing and coherently presenting relevant information as it relates to the vendor management and financial areas.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure within a team environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets.
- Self-motivated individual with drive, enthusiasm and commitment.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and time management skills.
- Can-do, will do’ attitude.
