Barden FS are delighted to be partnering with a leading fund services provider in Cork, who are looking to add a Vice President – Hedge Fund Accountant to their team. This person will represent a key member of the company’s fund accounting team, liaising closely with some of the industry’s best and overseeing a dynamic and growing team.
About the Role:
- Provide training and supervision to team members – responsible for conducting periodic performance evaluations.
- Plan, schedule and manage the daily workflows of all client relationships within your account.
- Act as primary contact with clients and other fund participants.
- Maintain relationships with investors, investment advisors/managers, banks, brokers and auditors and other fund participants.
- Participate in presentations and leading projects.
- Participate in managerial functions in conjunction with the Managing Director.
About the Person:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area – finance, business, accounting, economics, etc.
- Around 7-8 years’ experience in hedge fund accounting.
- Proven interest in the financial markets and hedge fund industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of hedge fund accounting.
- Previous managerial experience (preferred).
