Barden has been engaged by a leading Irish business to identify a Finance Manager to join their Group Finance team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a broad and visible role, working across the business to support and strengthen the governance and control environment around supplier income.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, this person will play a key role in ensuring supplier income is reported, governed and supported through a high standard of processes and controls. This position will suit a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys building relationships, partnering with stakeholders and finding opportunities to enhance ways of working.

The Finance Manager will have regular exposure to senior leaders, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded organisation in a role that offers real variety, visibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact as part of a collaborative and progressive Finance team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Lead and enhance the group supplier income governance framework, ensuring robust controls, compliance and oversight across all divisions.
• Provide independent challenge and assurance over supplier income accounting, reporting and governance activities.
• Monitor supplier income risks, control deficiencies and remediation plans, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Prepare governance reporting and insights for senior leadership, Financial Control forums and the Audit Committee.
• Act as the Group subject matter expert, partnering with Commercial, Trading, Finance, Audit and Technology teams to strengthen governance and control effectiveness.
• Drive transformation initiatives focused on standardisation, automation and best-practice supplier income processes.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years’ post-qualified experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail
• Organized and efficient with ability to prioritize workload and follow through on tasks
• Strong technical skills
• Positive attitude with a high level of personal integrity
• Proven ability to influence at all levels in the organization
