This is the number one finance role in the business. You will sit at the heart of the Senior Leadership Team, acting as a trusted advisor on strategy, financial control, and the overall direction of the business. ABOUT THE ROLE

• Act as a trusted advisor to the shareholders on strategy, business planning, and long-term direction.

• Deliver accurate, timely monthly and annual financial and management reporting across all entities, domestic and international.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.

• Oversee cashflow, working capital, and treasury management across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other external advisors.
• Provide commercial insight and financial analysis to support key business and investment decisions.
• Oversee tax and statutory compliance across all operating jurisdictions.
• Support the Owners and Senior Leadership Team on M&A, expansion, and other strategic initiatives as they arise.
• Ensure the business is well positioned from a financial and governance perspective to support its continued growth trajectory.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• Qualified accountant, with circa 20 years’ progressive finance experience.
• Proven track record operating at Group Finance Director / CFO level.
• Experience working as part of a Senior Leadership Team, with the gravitas to operate as a trusted advisor.
• Hands on, pragmatic leader who is equally comfortable operating at strategic and operational levels.
• Strong leadership capability, with a track record of building and developing high-performing, close-knit teams.

Barden is working directly with the Partners in the Cork office of an established law firm looking to expand their presence in the region across a number of different areas.

With circa 15 people in its Cork office, the firm has a small to mid-size “feel” to it, with a strong and friendly work culture. However, its large presence and client base domestically and internationally offers the quality of work and other benefits of a larger practice.

The organisation is open to flexible working arrangements with a high level of hybrid and/or remote working. While every case would be assessed individually and presence in the Cork office is an advantage, the firm will consider applications from individuals based elsewhere in Ireland who can do circa 1 day per week in the office (subject to discussion).

THE PERSON

The successful individual will be an Irish qualified Solicitor with 3-5 years’ PQE in asset management and investment funds, either in practice or in-house.

Barden is working with an international law firm well established in Dublin who are looking to hire a Tax Associate to join its highly regarded Tax team.

The firm has an excellent domestic and international client base including leading financial institutions, multinational corporations and investment managers.

You will advise on a broad range of tax matters across financial services and corporate transactions, including debt capital markets, investment funds, M&A, aircraft leasing, real estate and cross-border tax planning.

You will work closely with partners on complex tax advisory work, collaborating with colleagues across practice groups and supporting clients on both domestic and international matters.

THE PERSON

The successful individual will be a qualified lawyer with circa 1 – 3 years’ PQE who has completed or is in the process of completing the AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification, with relevant tax experience gained in a law firm or accounting practice.

Barden is working with an international law firm well established in Dublin who are looking to hire a Solicitor to join its highly reputed Financial Regulatory department.

The firm has an excellent domestic and international client base in the financial sector, including banks, asset managers, broker-dealers, trading platforms, insurers, payment services and FinTech companies.

The Financial Regulatory team provides regulatory advisory and transactional services to the world’s largest financial institutions, ranging from setting up businesses and launching new products and services, to dealing with regulators, advising on anti-money laundering, financial sanctions, risk management, compliance frameworks, audits, investigations, etc.

The organisation is known for promoting faster career progression than usual, with a very non-hierarchical environment and very close access to the Partners.

The firm is open to considering applications from Solicitors with financial regulatory experience in top law firms ranging from 3+ years’ PQE up to Of Counsel level. They welcome exploratory and informal conversations with potential candidates who might be interested in hearing more about the opportunity and the team.

This is a senior transaction support role at one of Dublin’s leading boutique M&A practices. The firm has an established reputation for advising on complex corporate transactions and operates with a lean, high-performing team. This hire is central to how the firm manages and executes its deal flow.

The successful candidate will work directly alongside the firm’s Legal Technology and Innovation Manager across the full lifecycle of M&A transactions. Responsibilities span ancillary documentation, execution management, data room administration, post-completion filings and company secretarial matters. The role carries genuine responsibility from the outset and is structured to develop significantly over time.

The firm has made a substantial investment in proprietary systems that automate and streamline the document-intensive side of transactional work. The successful candidate will be trained on those systems and, as they progress, will be expected to operate them independently. For the right person, this represents a meaningful opportunity to develop expertise across legal operations and technology.

THE ROLE

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and coordinating ancillary transaction documents across live M&A deals
• Managing completion checklists and the execution phase of transactions
• Data room setup, maintenance and management
• Post-completion administration and filing
• Company secretarial work including CRO filings, registers, resolutions and minutes
• Working within and, in time, independently operating the firm’s proprietary document automation systems

THE PERSON

Applications are welcomed from individuals with backgrounds in M&A, funds or banking-side transaction work. The firm is primarily concerned with the quality and relevance of transactional experience, and with a demonstrated interest in how technology is applied to legal practice.

The following are required:

• A minimum of three years of relevant transactional experience
• A demonstrable interest in legal technology and process-driven working
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities without close supervision
• Sound judgment and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-moving transactional environment

Individuals whose career objective is to develop within legal operations and transaction management, rather than to qualify as a solicitor, will be particularly well suited to this position.
