I’m currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity within a world-leading business.
This is a permanent position that would suit an Accounts Assistant or Part-Qualified Accountant looking to take the next step in their career and gain broader exposure across management accounting, financial reporting and commercial finance.
The role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management and gain valuable experience within the racing industry, with genuine scope to develop and progress.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
• Monthly reconciliations
• Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Assisting with statutory reporting and external audit requirements
• Providing financial analysis and support to the wider business
• Contributing to continuous improvement across financial reporting processes and systems
• Supporting ad hoc projects as required
ABOUT THE PERSON:
• Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant, or an experienced Accounts Assistant ready to progress
• Strong technical and management accounting skills
• Good IT skills and experience using financial accounting and reporting systems
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• A proactive approach with the ability and willingness to learn
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
• Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with colleagues and senior management
