Barden are assisting a West Dublin based Multinational who are looking to hire an experienced and qualified accountant to their Group Finance team on a permanent basis as Finance Manager.
This role offers a great opportunity to step into management, strong exposure to senior finance and business leadership, and will play a key part in strengthening the group’s group accounting capabilities.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of group annual reports under IFRS;
- Preparation of monthly consolidated group management information;
- Providing technical accounting guidance across the business on key IFRS matters;
- Assessing the impact of new accounting standards and supporting their implementation;
- Mentoring junior members of the team.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accounting professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 4+ years PQE (in practice or industry);
- Consolidation experience preferred;
- Previous experience in a PLC/MNC is preferred;
- Excellent communication and report writing skills;
- Self-starter who is motivated, innovative and ambitious;
- Solid working knowledge of Excel.
