Barden has been exclusively engaged on a key appointment for a Group Reporting Manager within a large, complex international organisation based in Dublin to join their high-performing Group Finance team.
This is a high-impact role at the centre of the finance function, with responsibility for leading the Group consolidation process and supporting the delivery of high-quality financial reporting. Working closely with senior finance leadership, this person will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting technical accounting matters and helping to shape a best-in-class control environment.
About the role
- Take ownership of the Group consolidation process across monthly, interim and annual reporting cycles.
- Support the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant external financial reporting.
- Prepare and review technical accounting papers across a range of complex accounting matters.
- Support the preparation of annual and interim financial statements and other regulatory disclosures.
- Partner closely with external auditors, ensuring reporting deliverables are completed to a high standard.
- Support ongoing transformation, separation and reporting change initiatives across the Group.
- Act as a key liaison between global finance teams, driving alignment, accountability and quality across reporting processes.
- Drive continuous improvement across reporting, governance and control frameworks.
- Contribute to the development of a robust listed-company reporting environment.
About the person
- Qualified accountant with at least 5 PQE.
- Proven experience in Group Reporting, Financial Reporting or Audit within a plc, listed or multinational environment.
- Strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge.
- Experience supporting complex accounting issues and preparing technical accounting papers.
- Background in Big 4 or equivalent audit environment would be highly advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships across multiple functions and geographies.
