As the business continues to grow across international markets, we’re looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team in Cork and play a key role in supporting the financial management and reporting of their expanding group of companies.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you’ll take ownership of management accounting, forecasting, reporting, and financial controls across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts across the Group
- Manage month-end close processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Produce management and statutory accounts and present financial information to senior leadership
- Lead the annual budgeting process
- Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts
- Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
- Manage treasury activities and cash flow reporting
- Oversee statutory compliance, including VAT returns and corporation tax requirements
- Support wider finance operations and contribute to process improvements and ad hoc projects
About You
You are a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys contributing to a growing business.
Essential Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team
Desirable:
- Experience with cloud-based accounting systems
- Experience working in a scaling or high-growth business environment
