The Opportunity
Barden is delighted to assist our client with an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join an established team supporting employees across Ireland and the UK. This role will cover a varied payroll remit, from calculating monthly pay to managing deductions, answering queries and helping improve existing processes.
- Oversee payroll activity across both jurisdictions
- Calculate pay, variable earnings, deductions and statutory entitlements
- Manage pension and benefit-related changes
- Investigate and resolve payroll queries
- Produce payroll reports and complete relevant checks
- Keep employee information and payroll records up to date
- Assist with system and process enhancements
About You
- Experience working with both Irish and UK payroll
- IPASS or CIPP qualification desirable
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Confident communicating with employees and internal teams
- Additional European payroll knowledge is a plus
