We are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Senior Financial Accountant to join a high-performing finance team supporting the growth of a dynamic, multi-entity international organisation. The Opportunity
As Senior Financial Accountant, you will take ownership of several group entities while supporting consolidated group reporting, forecasting, compliance, and external stakeholder requirements. You will work closely with teams across Finance, Commercial, Legal, HR, and Project Development, providing critical financial insights and helping drive continuous improvement across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities for multiple group entities.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting across all relevant areas.
- Support the preparation and analysis of consolidated group financial results.
- Present and interpret financial information for internal stakeholders.
- Deliver management reporting and performance analysis.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Partner with project and operational teams to forecast costs and key business developments.
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Monitor performance against budgets and identify key variances.
Process Improvement & Controls
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
- Lead and implement efficiency improvements across finance operations.
Technical Accounting & Compliance
- Prepare accounting papers and technical assessments for key transactions.
- Manage tax and VAT compliance across multiple entities.
- Support wider tax planning initiatives, including Pillar Two reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
External Reporting
- Lead statutory, shareholder, and internal reporting requirements.
- Coordinate and manage external audit processes.
- Liaise with auditors and professional advisors to meet reporting deadlines.
About You
Essential Experience & Qualifications
ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
Minimum 3 years’ post-qualified experience (PQE)
Experience within a multi-entity, international organisation
Strong financial accounting and reporting expertise
Proven experience maintaining robust controls and reporting processes
Advanced Excel and accounting systems knowledge
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and commercial awareness skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
Tax experience or tax-related qualification
Detail-oriented with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset
