Our client is a household-name consumer product business with an existing global team of 40 Procurement professionals (at least 30 of which work out of their HQ in Cork). The leadership team are looking to infuse the existing organisation with talent for several different early to mid-level procurement opportunities (across direct, indirect or freight procurement) with a view to those people taking on more senior roles over the coming years. With global leaders sitting in Cork at least 80% of decision-making on a global scale happens here; that means opportunity. Full Stop.

The Procurement team work closely with the wider global supply chain team of over 220 people (150 of which work out of their hub in Cork).
As a member of this team you will be interacting with large global suppliers within a number of different verticals ensuring the consistency, reliability, and sustainability of a truly global Supply chain.
We’ve no jobs specs. We’ve a blank canvas. Our remit is to speak with smart and ambitious Procurement professionals, tell the story of this business, introduce them to the team and work with them to shape what their first role might look like. This is a blank canvas for ambitious Procurement professionals to chart their future within a truly global, local team.
Opportunities exist at a number of different levels (early to mid-career) and across a number of different verticals in Procurement (ingredients, flavors, packaging, sweeteners and logistics to name a few). For the right people, there’s the opportunity to step up or rotate to another area – both horizontal and vertical progression is on the cards.
The team have a couple of key projects on their radar at the moment too aside from the day to day including continuously looking at sustainable ways of working, long-term capacity planning and building strong relationships both internally and externally with suppliers.
