Barden is proud to have been asked by the CEO of a leading construction and refurbishment company to help build out their procurement team ahead of what is shaping up to be an incredible decade in their industry. It’s construction but with a modular, pre-engineering twist – they are currently working on the development of the world’s tallest modular building so this team is in poll position when it comes to the future of construction.
Right now the CEO is looking to identify two Procurement leaders to be the cornerstone of their procurement function over the coming years. The CEO is looking for dynamic professionals to go on a journey with them. You don’t need to know everything about Procurement, just know where to go to look for solutions and be passionate about this company’s growth and mission. It is brilliant to see this business performing so well on an Irish as well as international stage. This is a global role and there are a number of entities involved.
This role will work closely with the wider Purchasing team, the CEO of the company, and a variety of other internal and external stakeholders. The core of the role is responsibility for ensuring that materials are delivered on schedule, within budget, and without compromising quality standards. The ideal person must be able to manage supply chains effectively, balance demand versus supply, and meet revenue attainment, margin target, and inventory level objectives.
Based in Cork but with occasional travel to the UK this is a chance to get involved in a business that is truly building a bright future for themselves.
If you’re degree qualified with circa 5+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain/related and strong negotiation / influencing skills, then we should talk.
