Barden are proud to have been selected by a newly appointed CFO of a Global SAAS business to identify a Head of Corporate FP&A to take on a key role as part of the Finance leadership team.

The company has enjoyed significant success in recent times and earlier this year was acquired by a Large European Private Equity fund at a significant valuation. They are primed for further global expansion, both organically and through M&A.

The incoming CFO is extremely impressive and is looking for an ambitious person to help build the structures required to set the company up for further success. The successful person will be a seasoned FP&A professional with experience in high-growth/tech or SaaS environments, a strong analytical mindset, self motivated and excellent communication skills. A passion for collaboration and a desire to make an impact in a dynamic, private-equity-backed company will be key to your success.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Lead and oversee the development of the company’s long-term strategic financial plan, annual budgeting, and periodic forecasting processes.
  • Prepare and distribute standard monthly financial reporting package with supporting analysis to management and private equity shareholders.
  • Assist with the preparation of investor/shareholder/lender presentations.
  • Implement a consolidated planning tool to support all functions and business units.
  • Develop 12 month rolling liquidity forecast and 13-week cashflow forecasting
  • Assist with the development of a KPI dashboard (bookings, billings, GRR, NRR, CAC, E/R) and reporting pack utilized in driving management decision making.
  • Assist with M&A activity, including due diligence analysis and related financing activities.
  • Collaborating with business units controllers to align financial goals with overall company objectives.
  • Be responsible for special projects and analysis as requested by the CFO.
  • You will work cross-functionally with the finance and accounting teams across the groups subsidiaries.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of highly qualified professionals.
  • Deep understanding of and experience with forecasting and the development and review of financial planning models.
  • Ability to process information real-time, ask questions and learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with relevant ERP and Financial Planning systems.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Highly organized and motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
  • Data driver leader who identifies data relationships and dependencies; synthesizes complex information to draw conclusions to make strategic decisions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills required.
  • History of successfully working with sophisticated Private Equity sponsors is a plus.
