Barden are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a leading National Wildlife Conservation to support the appointment of a Strategic Financial Controller.
This senior finance role will form part of the leadership group and manage a small team responsible for the financial, regulatory reporting, and IT related activities.
Ideally this role will suit a qualified accountant with 6-10 years PQE who has worked in a not-for-profit type organisation, or highly regulated environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Ownership of all financial reporting and compliance.
- Lead and inspire a small finance & IT team including career development planning & performance management processes.
- Manage the month end and reporting activities including presenting to senior leadership.
- Business partner with the Commercial and Operations teams.
- Manage the financial operations inclusive of AR, AP, and Payroll.
- Oversee the IT operations.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accounting professional with 6-10 years PQE.
- People management experience.
- Experience working in not-for-profit, highly regulated, or hospitality type environments an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
