We’re working with a large Irish business in Kerry to find a Senior Financial Accountant. This is a permanent, full-time role reporting to the Financial Controller.
The company is in an exciting phase of growth, bringing new structures and systems to an already well-established business. This role is a great opportunity to get involved in that journey, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting while ensuring compliance, analysing performance, and supporting key business decisions. You’ll also play a big part in improving processes and making operations more efficient.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Providing insights to support business decisions.
- Developing and improving management reporting.
- Optimising financial systems and processes, using IT solutions.
- Leading month-end and year-end close activities.
- Working with senior stakeholders to drive profitability and efficiency.
- Planning workloads to meet business deadlines.
- Preparing presentations and handling ad-hoc projects as needed.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Qualified accountant with 2+ years PQE.
- Strong Excel and systems skills.
- Someone who enjoys managing processes and is highly organised.
- Good technical accounting skills.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
