ROLE: Consulting Director – Payroll & WFM
LOCATION: Dublin or Cork
Our client is seeking an experienced leader (Senior Manager / Director level) to join their Human Capital Consulting team, focusing on Payroll and Workforce Management (PWFM). This role sits at the heart of strategy, PMO, team oversight and leadership, and client advisory, helping shape and deliver complex workforce transformations.
As a PWFM Lead, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of the offering within their HR Technology and Transformation practice. You’ll work closely with clients across sectors, lead cross-functional teams, and act as a trusted advisor across areas like Payroll, Workforce Management, HCM, and Benefits.
You’ll also be central to building out the team, driving market activity, ensuring delivery excellence, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Define and drive the PWFM strategy alongside Human Capital leadership
- Lead client engagements across strategy, vendor selection, and solution design
- Manage PMO and delivery for large-scale workforce transformation programs
- Build and lead multidisciplinary teams, drawing from across the wider consulting business
- Develop talent, share best practices, and ensure a high-quality client experience
- Collaborate across the global network to deliver integrated solutions
- Support business development and practice growth
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- 10+ years in consulting/professional services with a strong HR transformation background
- Deep expertise in payroll and workforce/time solutions (e.g., UKG, ADP, Ceridian, Infor)
- Proven leadership in programme delivery and team development
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder engagement skills
- A strategic thinker who brings analytical rigour and insight to complex problems
