Barden is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and rapidly expanding organisation in Cork to help identify a Payroll & Finance Administrator to join their growing team. Reporting to the Finance Lead, this role will focus on end-to-end payroll processing alongside wider finance administration responsibilities — making it ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a naturally proactive approach.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Process both weekly and monthly payroll in a timely and accurate manner
Update payroll data for starters, leavers, promotions, and transfers
Monitor and maintain time & attendance data to ensure accuracy
Generate payslips, earnings reports, tax summaries, and deduction statements
Resolve payroll-related queries from employees in a professional and confidential manner
Ensure ongoing compliance with Revenue, tax legislation, and internal policies
Support with payroll reporting and audits as needed
Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee and payroll information
Assist with additional ad hoc finance admin duties as required
ABOUT THE PERSON:
Strong experience in a payroll and finance admin role
Familiarity with Irish payroll legislation and Revenue systems
Comfortable using payroll and time & attendance software
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
A team player with great communication skills and a can-do attitude
