ROLES: Oracle EPM Project Manager / Technical expert (Industry & Consulting)
LOCATION: Dublin
Barden have a number of Oracle EPM opportunities, where we are supporting Clients across both Industry and Consulting.
Broadly for these roles – you’ll act as the key technical expert across EPM platforms, lead a high-performing team, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-quality financial solutions.
Main responsibilities will include (may differ depending on Industry or Consulting role):
- Lead the technical design, development and delivery of Oracle EPM solutions, applications and infrastructure aligned with finance and enterprise needs.
- Subject Matter Expert in all technical aspects of Oracle EPM; including best practices for deployments and data integration techniques.
- Manage enhancements, updates and configuration changes to support evolving business requirements.
- Define and implement best practices around data governance, metadata management, and access controls.
- Support consolidation, planning, reporting and forecasting processes through robust EPM system configuration.
- Oversee integration of data from ERP systems, ensuring consistency, accuracy and completeness.
- Act as technical lead for issue resolution, performance optimisation, patch management and system monitoring.
- Collaborate with other teams, including finance and accounting, to understand business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs
- Provide technical expertise and direction to project teams in the areas of data integration, data modelling, and financial reporting
- Design and develop reporting and analytics solutions to support financial and regulatory reporting.
- Lead, coach and mentor a team building a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Collaborate with finance, IT and vendors to translate business needs into technical solutions and deliver change.
- Identify and implement improvements across the EPM platform, embracing automation and innovation opportunities.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
Requirements:
- Min +7 years in Oracle EPM roles (FCCS, PBCS/EPBCS, Hyperion etc); strong systems and data background
- Proven experience managing complex EPM implementations and ongoing operations
- Strong Project Management experience
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation, planning, and reporting processes
- Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Smartforms, metadata management, and data integration
- Experience with ERP integration (e.g. SAP ECC, S4 HANA, Oracle, Netsuite etc)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Oracle EPM certifications desirable
