Barden are delighted to be engaged with an innovative Group to help identify a Senior Finance Manager to join their Finance team. This role is a 10 month fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave. The role is based in Dublin city centre but the Group are operating a very hybrid working policy with 1 day onsite a week expected.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Finance Director, this position is the heartbeat of finance — owning the general ledger, driving accurate journal entries and reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with both US GAAP and local reporting standards.
- Take ownership of month-end close across multiple international markets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
- Present financial insights and variance analysis to senior stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.
- Lead statutory audits across several countries while driving strong relationships with auditors.
- Coach and develop a high-performing team, building your leadership and people management skills.
- Shape the future of finance by strengthening controls and spearheading process improvements across international operations.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Qualified Accountant (Big 4/Top 10 trained) with 8+ years of post-qualification experience in in a complex, multinational, or practice environment
- Experience within international or PLC environments is highly beneficial.
- Experience managing a team;
- Knowledge of U.S GAAP and SOX controls.
- Highly organised and detail-focused, you combine technical strength with excellent communication and leadership skills, and you thrive in fast-paced, change-driven environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
- Adept at providing practical, strategic solutions in complex scenarios.
