🔍 ABOUT THE ROLE
A fantastic opportunity to join a growing tax team at an incredibly exciting part of its growth journey. Due to continued growth and ambitious plans for further expansion in Ireland, our client is recruiting a Director to join their Indirect Tax team.
You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team serving a range of international and domestic clients across diverse sectors. A key part of the role will be collaborating with senior management to develop the firm’s indirect tax service offering.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver technically sound, clear, and commercially focused advice on indirect tax matters
- Manage a portfolio of indirect tax clients and oversee a compliance portfolio
- Work with senior management to grow the firm’s indirect tax offering
- Contribute to the operational management of the tax business
- Collaborate with other member firms on cross-border projects and business development
- Support technical development and training of staff on indirect taxes

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a management role in practice
- Comprehensive VAT technical knowledge and experience
- Proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio
- A track record in business development and converting relationships into fee-paying work
- Self-motivation and leadership capability
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills
