This role will oversee Global Employment Tax across EMEA, managing risk, driving efficiencies, and aligning tax strategy with business priorities.

About the position
- Advice the business on global employment tax matters, including payroll, benefits and equity, expatriate, and globally mobile employees
- Lead and coordinate employment tax compliance activities, including oversight of filings and support during payroll tax and social security audits.
- Identify and manage employment tax risk and legislative change across the EMEA region
- Monitor international tax developments, including OECD initiatives, and assess and communicate their business impact.
- Act as a key liaison between the tax function and internal stakeholders, including HR, Payroll, Legal, and Finance.
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors.
- Advise on global mobility and tax equalisation frameworks, compensation and benefits structures, and wider business initiatives, ensuring tax-efficient and compliant outcomes across EMEA.
About the person
- Management experience at a multinational corporation and/or Big 4 firm with a deep technical expertise in employment and global mobility tax matters
- A hands on approach to managing tax issues and providing practical solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally with a particular strength of managing revenue relationships
- Proven experience with problem solving, prioritization, and process improvements.
- Ability to work independently and/or cross functionally
