About the Role
This is a key role within the SME accounting team, ideal for an experienced Senior Accountant who enjoys managing a varied portfolio and working closely with Partners. You will take ownership of client relationships, contribute to the ongoing development of the team, and play a visible role as the firm enters its next stage of growth.
Responsibilities
- Preparing financial statements for SMEs, including companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Preparing and filing Corporation Tax and Income Tax returns
- Preparing and reviewing VAT, RCT and PAYE returns
- Managing CRO filings and statutory compliance
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear and practical advice
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
About You
- 3–5 years’ experience in general practice accounting
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or operating at senior part‑qualified level
- Comfortable managing a portfolio and dealing directly with clients
- Motivated by responsibility, autonomy and progression within a growing firm
