Barden are partnering with a technology multinational looking to hire a Legal Assistant to join their Corporate legal department in Cork on a fixed term contract until June 2027.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Supporting corporate governance and entity management activities across Ireland and international jurisdictions, including subsidiary maintenance and corporate restructuring matters.
- Drafting, reviewing and coordinating the execution of a broad range of corporate legal documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders across EMEA and global legal teams.
- Driving operational efficiencies within the legal function through the use of AI and emerging technology tools, while promoting innovation and best practices across the team.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
The successful individual will be an experienced Legal Secretary, Legal Executive, Paralegal or Company Secretary with excellent experience in corporate legal matters, corporate governance and entity management.
Barden has been engaged by a global FinTech company looking to hire a Regulatory lawyer to join its expanding Legal team in Dublin.
The role reports into the General Counsel for Ireland and will interact regularly with the international legal and compliance teams.
THE ROLE
The successful individual will work on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters in a fast-paced and technology-driven environment. This will include providing regulatory advice, advising on new products and services, cross-border business activities, liaising with the Central Bank of Ireland and other EU regulatory authorities, etc.

THE PERSON
- A qualified lawyer in Ireland or another EU country (or another common law jurisdiction but with relevant regulatory experience in Ireland or Europe);
- Ideally circa 3-7 years’ PQE;
- Excellent financial services regulatory experience gained in a law firm or in-house.
Barden has been engaged by a leading telecommunications company looking to hire an experienced data protection & privacy lawyer.
This position requires 3 days onsite per week in the Dublin city centre offices.
THE ROLE
- Advising on all applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and ePrivacy Regulations, as well as emerging regulatory frameworks;
- Supporting product, governance, marketing and technology teams on privacy compliance matters;
- Ensuring that privacy policies and procedures are compliant and implemented appropriately;
- Drafting and negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), support on response to and investigations of data protection incidents, and interact as necessary with the Data Protection Commission (DPC) and other EU supervisory authorities;
- Conducting and advising on data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
