Barden has been exclusively engaged by a multinational business in the manufacturing & FMCG sector looking to hire a senior legal counsel at Director level. The position will likely form part of the senior leadership team in Ireland after an initial period of time.
The position requires 3 days per week onsite in the offices in Co. Kildare. However, the company is opening a Dublin office later in the year and it will be possible to work one of those days per week in Dublin.
THE ROLE
The main purpose of this position is to support the global direct procurement team by providing strategic legal advice on commercial and compliance matters, including drafting and negotiating complex supply chain contracts.
The role will also support other functions such as HR, Finance, Operations on a more ad hoc and project basis.

THE PERSON
- Irish qualified lawyer;
- 8+ years’ PQE working on commercial law and procurement matters in an international context, such as in a multinational company or working with international suppliers;
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex high-value contracts for multinational organisations;
- Prior in-house experience, ideally in a relevant sector such as FMCG, Manufacturing, Pharma, Food & Beverages, Automotive, etc.
Barden are the exclusive partners of a global FinTech company looking to hire a Regulatory lawyer to join its expanding Legal team in Dublin.
The role reports into the General Counsel for Ireland and will interact regularly with the international legal and compliance teams.
THE ROLE
The successful individual will work on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters in a fast-paced and technology-driven environment. This will include providing regulatory advice, advising on new products and services, cross-border business activities, liaising with the Central Bank of Ireland and other EU regulatory authorities, etc.

- A qualified lawyer in Ireland or another EU country (or another common law jurisdiction but with relevant regulatory experience in Ireland or Europe);
- Ideally circa 3-7 years’ PQE;
- Excellent financial services regulatory experience gained in a law firm or in-house.
