Barden is partnering on an exclusive basis with an Irish fund management company looking to hire a paralegal to join their collegiate legal team in Dublin.
THE OPPORTUNITY
While this is a permanent position, the company is very uniquely looking for someone focused and ambitious who has a very defined career path for themselves and who wants to pursue the FE1 exams and train as a Solicitor. The team sees this role as a natural stepping stone for someone while they study for the FE1s. In return, they are hoping to have a dedicated and talented colleague for 18-24 months. Therefore, candidates should not be too advanced in their FE-1 journey.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting with the review of due diligence for legal and regulatory compliance;
- Assisting with the drafting and reviewing of fund documentation and agreements;
- Dealing with internal legal queries and assisting with the provision of advice to internal departments on applicable laws and regulations;
- Researching areas of law and topics of interest for the Legal team;
- Assisting the Legal team with all aspects of office management, including document and file management.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
The successful individual:
- Has recently finished their law degree/masters;
- Has plans to start the FE1 exams in the short term or has completed some already (3 would be the very maximum).
- Has circa 6 months/1 year of legal experience, ideally in a role drafting and reviewing documentation and preferably in the financial services or funds sector (this is an advantage but not a hard requirement).
- Has excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and superb communication.
Barden is partnering on an exclusive basis with a global manufacturing company looking to hire a company secretary to join the team in Dublin.
The organisation operates globally, with several national and international manufacturing sites and with 90+ legal entities.
The role requires 3 days onsite in the Dublin city centre offices.
THE ROLE
The successful individual will support governance and compliance across the corporate structure internationally, including assisting with the preparation of board materials and minutes, maintaining the statutory registers and ensuring timely filings with relevant authorities. The role will also support with M&A activity, including integration of governance frameworks, statutory compliance and reporting standards across different entities.

THE PERSON
- Qualified with the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI).
- 4+ years of experience in a company secretary or governance support role, ideally within a multinational company.
Barden is partnering exclusively with an international renewable energy company looking to hire an experienced lawyer into its Legal team.
The role will be based in the Cork offices and work closely with the Development team and the MD there.
THE ROLE
The successful individual will report to the Head of Legal (based internationally) and will primarily support the business with energy related contracts such as O&M (Operations & Maintenance) agreements, EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contracts, PPA (Power Purchase Agreements) contracts, and others.
The primary geographical scope will be Ireland and other European countries.

THE PERSON
- Qualified Lawyer in a Common Law jurisdiction. Civil Law experience/qualification would be an advantage but not a requirement.
- 5+ years’ PQE.
- Excellent experience in energy contracts and projects, ideally at an international level.
- Fluency in German and/or other European languages would be an advantage.
