The role includes:
- Supporting EMEA corporate and indirect tax compliance and reporting
- Assisting with tax provisions and accounting for tax
- Reviewing tax returns, payments, journals and reconciliations
- Partnering with internal stakeholders and external advisors across regions
- Supporting audits, projects and process improvements
- Taking ownership of planning opportunities and implementation
About you:
- Tax‑qualified (CTA preferred)
- c.8+ years’ experience in Big 4 and/or multinational tax environments
- Strong exposure to EMEA / international tax operations
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast‑paced, remote setting

About the position
- Manage the tax compliance process and liaising with external advisors in this regard
- Provide support during tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.
- Support in preparing transfer pricing documentation and calculations
- Assistance on M&A activities to support the growth of the business
- Review and advise on business transactions from a tax perspective
- Liaising with external advisors to obtain and implement advice
- Monitor Irish and international tax developments and assess business impact.
- Assist with the timely completion of R&D credit claims and related reports
- Provide technical support across a broad range of taxes to the group including withholding tax, VAT and payroll matters
About the person
- Chartered Tax Advisor and/or Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and ability to research complex issues
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear interaction with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
