About the role:
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Assigned Certifiers to join our Technical Advisory Services team. This role involves managing the BCAR certification process, conducting design reviews, providing technical advisory services, and performing site inspections across a diverse range of projects. You will play a pivotal role in elevating standards and fostering a culture of compliance within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop bespoke inspection plans tailored to each project, employing a strategic risk-based approach.
- Conduct periodic site inspections utilizing advanced proprietary software.
- Oversee the BCAR administrative process through the Building Control Management System (BCMS).
- Attend site and design team meetings, facilitating collaboration and innovation.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders to ensure strict adherence to the BCAR process.
- Lead BCAR meetings and provide real-time updates on process status.
- Encourage project teams to fully utilize the certification platform for optimal efficiency.
- Share expertise and lessons learned to support and enhance team performance.
About the Person:
- Chartered or registered with a relevant professional body (e.g., RIAI, SCSI, Engineers Ireland) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
- Demonstrated experience in inspecting building works, either as a designer or contractor.
- A genuine passion for enhancing quality within the construction industry.
- A strong interest in innovation and digitalization in the built environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in teams while driving high performance.
- Self-motivated and capable of leading initiatives without close supervision.
- Authorized to work in Ireland.
